I will Continue to run for Rory and Renee

Brutal but beautiful

UTA 50km ultramarathon in the Blue Mountains was brutal yet beautiful and I loved it!! Such a stunning course, with so, so many steps/hills (think climbing up Mt Kosciuzko x 4).

The support and comraderie on course was amazing, as were my crew!

My plan was to a/ finish, b/ smile throughout (which I mainly did other than the 998 steep steps at the end 😉) and c/ raise money for brain cancer research.

I am so blessed to have family and friends who are always in my corner, even when they think I am crazy 🤪 Thank-you to everyone who have kindly donated 😘

I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!

In addition to I’m doing Connor’s Run in September, I am also running in my first ‘official’ 50km on Saturday 18th of May at UTA in the Blue Mountains. It’s a tough course with a LOT of elevation, however pales in comparison to what Rory, Renee and others with Brain Cancer have ti go through.

Brain cancer -is the #1 disease killer of young people, and Brain cancer research is on the tipping point. We can all be part of making important breakthroughs happen. My participation is something that I can do to support the science and in the meantime the patients. For all the people out there currently battling brain tumours and for those who couldn’t wait for research to progress any longer.

I’m doing this because I know we can find a way to make brain cancer go the way of the dinosaurs. Make a donation to my page and be part of making brains matter, together we can change the odds for young people.
