I'm fundraising for kids with brain cancer!
Back in 2013, I witnessed a beautiful sunset.
As Connor was leaving us, I took Maddie the dog out for a walk around Sandringham. I ended up down the beach watching the sun gone down on a beautiful life.
But very soon after was the dawn of something new.
As we were dealing with the loss of an awesome young soul, we embarked on creating a positive movement. One that encapsulated many of his great traits. One that would honour his memory. One that would one day change the odds for others like Connor, facing the stark reality of a deadly disease.
Now 12 years on, you the community, have raised $15m ... MILLION... for brain cancer research and patient care projects.
Innovative research. Big hearted programs. Impactful programs.
And now for this year's run, the family and I will be running our own family Connor's Run at Stockholm's Stadion - the 1912 olympic stadium.
