We're fundraising for brain matters!
We're doing Connor’s Run to support the brave and awesome kids fighting brain cancer - the #1 disease killer of young people, and to fund the science that will one day end paediatric brain cancer.Â
Brain cancer research is on the tipping point. We can all be part of making important breakthroughs happen. Our participation is something that we can do to support the science and in the meantime the patients. For all the people out there currently battling brain tumours and for those who couldn’t wait for research to progress any longer.
SUPPORT TANGO This year, this event means more than ever!Â
In 2020, Tango Director Ed Waters son Billy, was diagnosed with a Stage 1 Benign Meningioma Brain Tumour.Â
In 2022, Billy underwent a full
craniotomy to remove his brain tumour, however
despite going through 11 hours of surgery and
weeks of recovery, it was not able to be
removed.
100% of all money fundraised goes to
pediatric brain cancer research, care
and development projects.
In our first year participating, the Tango team
managed to raise $15,611 towards the cause
and we plan to make our impact bigger and
better every year!
