My reason why…

My wife, Nikki, was struck down with an Ependymona in 2021. Although the surgery was able to remove the tumour, today 3 years on, we are still battling with the after effects of spinal surgery.

Nikki is a super strong person, but the pain, buzzing and discomfort left behind from spinal damage makes it hard for her to smile everyday.

This run will be to help raise awareness and funding for research and development into brain cancer treatment and support. Not the same cancer that Nikki had, but a similar one.
